When you redeem, limited information is shared with the business to verify your eligibility and deliver the offer. If you complete a purchase on a business's own website, that interaction is governed by the business's own terms and privacy policy.

Information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, profile photo, role and the cruise ship you're associated with. Your general location is inferred from your ship's route and ports — Crew Mingle never accesses precise GPS or background location data.

Is my personal information shared with businesses?

Only when you actively engage with an offer — such as redeeming a deal in-store or making an online purchase — and only the minimum information needed to verify your eligibility and complete the redemption. If you don't interact with an offer, nothing is shared. We never sell your personal information.

Can I hide my profile from other crew?

Yes. In your settings you can choose a public profile — visible to any crew member who opens a specific ship — or stay hidden, where only your friends and people you connect with can see you. You're in control of who can find you.

Can I block someone?

Yes. You can block any user and they won't be able to see you at all — not on ships, not in search, nowhere. They stay unable to find you unless you choose to unblock them.

How do I delete my account and data?

Accepted Answer

You can delete your account in the app. Your personal information — including your name, email, date of birth and photos — is removed from our systems, and your account disappears from searches and friend lists. Anonymised data that can't identify you may be kept for analytics, and certain records may be retained for up to 120 days to investigate reports of misuse before being fully removed.
